Estudios del Horizonte.

This is a series of images that experiment with the deconstruction of the well-established idea of photographic practice. Long exposures and motion serve as the tools that transform these images, ultimately corrupting a landscape into vibrant splashes of color and trails of light.

Throughout this process, interpretations, ideas, and concepts are added, resulting in a disruptive and thought-provoking outcome. These two elements, disruption and confrontation, are inevitable components within the creative drive and the core statement of my work.

This pieces are the result of a marvelous collaboration with sculptor Ricardo Angeles.

When we work, we like to oscillate between detachment and involvement, tempting that the photographs and videos inhabit that nebulous zone between fact and feeling. We are conveinced that the dramatic use of contrasts in the artistic approach creates visually impactful scenarios.
